Well hello there Cate Blanchett, don’t you look fantastic on the red carpet?!
I must admit, I initially did not like what Cate had going on in this photo. At first glance the dress looked a little “ick” for me, but that’s so not the case. Within seconds I experienced a moment of clarity and said to myself, “Whoa, this is so elegant and quite becoming.” I am so loving it, to say the least.

Debo admitir que al principio no le gustaba lo que Cate había pasando en esta foto. A primera vista, el vestido parecía un poco "ick" para mí, pero eso no es tan así. En cuestión de segundos tuve un momento de claridad y me dije, "Whoa, esto es tan elegante y llegando a ser absolutamente." Estoy muy amante de ella, por decir lo menos.

Cate’s overall look is put together very well. The hair styled up and off her face and shoulders is the right choice for this dress. With this kind of neckline and detail, styling her hair down would have made her shoulders and waist appear heavy. Her makeup looks fresh and she has just the right amount of color on her lips to complement the color in her dress. And the dress itself is quite unique. I think that’s why I’m so drawn to it. The way the colored side panels come in toward the waistline is so striking and almost an optical illusion. The multiple fabric tones really speak “winter.” It almost resembles snow and ice in a strange way. She truly looks elegant and regal.

Aspecto general de Cate se junta muy bien. El peinado y la cara y los hombros es la elección correcta para este vestido. Con este tipo de escote y detalle, labrando el pelo suelto habría hecho los hombros y la cintura aparecen pesado. Su maquillaje se ve fresco y tiene la cantidad justa de color en los labios para complementar el color de su vestido. Y el propio vestido es bastante singular. Creo que es por eso que estoy tan atraído a ella. La forma de los paneles laterales de colores vienen en dirección a la línea de la cintura es tan llamativo y casi una ilusión óptica. Los tonos de tela múltiples realmente hablar "invierno". Casi se parece a la nieve y el hielo de una manera extraña. Ella realmente se ve elegante y majestuoso.
Le doy a este un un absoluto 10.
