Just when I thought this season would have a 100% success rate, along came Brian and H Design. Wow. Just wow. I think this may go down in Tabatha history as the saddest takeover ever. That staff wanted to be there and wanted the salon to succeed. Brian unfortunately made that impossible between not supplying the salon with products and his hands-off yet controlling approach. The episode was in fact one giant "Really?!" moment, but I've still selected a few of my faves.
Justo cuando pensaba que esta temporada tendría una tasa de éxito del 100%, llegó Brian y Diseño de H. Wow. Sólo wow. Creo que esto puede pasar a la historia como el más triste Tabatha toma nunca. Really?! Moment No. 3 - Product Displacement
Brian does not trust his staff. Not even slightly. It was to the point where he made them pay for hair products and dyes out of pocket. And not only that, he sold product to them himself at an inflated cost. Huh? Wouldn't you want to give your own employees a discount? So that, I don't know, they can afford to be well stocked and provide quality service? Guess not...
But besides that, half the stylists were in serious need of some education. But when it's that hard to get some more hair dye, I don't think any tuition reimbursement is going to be doled out, well, ever.

It takes something pretty outrageous to crack that steely exterior or put her in a situation where she doesn't have a biting remark. But Brian managed to break her in a way that I have not yet seen before. He kept glossing over what she was telling him, listening without hearing to the point where Tabatha finally just took her head in her hands and said in a dreamy voice, "Far out." What? Did Tabatha fall down a worm hole into the '60s? I can't say I blame her, the insanity at H Design would probably would have left me addled as well.

I mean, you have to recognize that you're doing something wrong after that, right? Wrong. When Tabatha confronted him about it, he was full of excuses. Again. I think the best part of the episode was Tabatha telling him off at the end and walking out before he could say anything. Bam! Spreadsheets can't save you from the wrath of Tabatha Coffey, Brian. Nor can they save your business.
